Because in our consignments batteries and accumulators can be contained, we are obliged according to the Batteries Act (BattG) to point out you to the following: Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed in the domestic waste, but you are obliged by law to the return of used batteries and accumulators. Old batteries can contain pollutants which can damage the environment or your health in case of a non material-appropriate storage or disposal. However, batteries also contain important commodities as for example iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be recycled. You can return the batteries after use either to us or in close vicinity (e.g. in trade or in municipal collective places) free of charge.

The sign with the crossed garbage bin means that you may not dispose batteries and accumulators in the domestic waste. Under this sign you find, in addition, following symbols with the following meaning:
Pb: Battery contains lead
Cd: Battery contains cadmium
Hg: Battery contains mercury
